Hi There,

I am having some issues with my creative cloud subscription and wondered if anyone else was having the same problems?

I'm working on a new iMac retina 4k 2017 using a wacom cintiq tablet. Lots of processing power and memory and on the latest version of High Sierra. Hard wired into the router. So no problems with connectivity either.

1. No matter whether I use the full version of Adobe Acrobat DC or the lite version which is just a reader, the programme freezes when I open ANY PDF file and I have to force quit EVERY time. This is incredibly frustrating when trying to view my portfolio or send anything to print, to clients etc.

2. I keep getting an error in Illustrator, photoshop and other adobe programmes in the CC suite that says "something went wrong initialising Creative Cloud Libraries"

I have done the following:

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling apps

Using the Adobe app cleaner dmg

Doing a Reset using Command-option-R

Choosing to uninstall Creative Cloud and then choosing repair

Uninstalling the full Creative Cloud and reinstalling it (and subsequently having to reinstall ALL my presets)

I have tried to check the host files but I cannot access them

I am at a total loss and TBH if I hadn't had so much training, experience and time invested in Adobe I would have changed to alternative programmes by now. This is wasting an awful lot of time and affecting my deadlines.

If anyone else is having similar problems or even Adobe can get in touch so I can sort this out, I would love to hear from anyone who has any suggestions. My husband just keeps shaking his head at me, telling me I should get a computer instead of a Mac and not use cloud based systems. (He's an engineer pc purist).

Please help!!!!
