Changing Program Name

Hi,

If I change my Program Name after my program is run, does it change automatically the acquisition program name ?

example:

Program Name = TEST2017

Acquisition program Name = TEST2017

after the change

Program Name = TEST201708

Acquisition program Name = TEST2017 or TEST201708

Yes it will change. And everything that references that program name will change.

It will not change the acquisition program name. That value is permanently stamped using the value when the lead was acquired.

I take that back. Darrell is correct - even the stamped value within the lead record will update with the updated program name. Sorry for the confusion. Did a little test to find out for myself.

Some flow steps - specifically when the program name is used for "choices" - will not reflect the new program name and will need to be manually changed. Just be sure to check everywhere this was used to ensure your new program name is reflected.
