Recap from Adobe Summit 2026: Building the AI Capability Stack
Excited to be apart of this conversation! Although it’s been a couple of weeks since Summit there is still ALOT to process especially with new features and capabilities we got to see in action. I really really loved the sessions that honed in on how we think about the new Adobe “martech” stack with AI.
Some highlights I really dove into post-Summit:

Thinking beyond outputs when it comes to AI. Focus instead on your outcomes.

Building a successful "Human + AI" operating model begins by understanding how your workflow processes can be better optimized based on current state challenges

The new Martech stack now involves building the “AI Capability Stack” with different layers supporting the CX workflows

By testing specific vertical slices of the capability stack incrementally—from data readiness up through governance to final experiences—teams can demonstrate tangible value early on and clearly define the requirements for future capabilities before rolling them out at scale.
In the world of customer experience, I will be very curious to witness this further in practice over the coming year.
