Are you using AI to work faster, or to do things you simply couldn't do before?

I've noticed a shift in how I think about AI over the past year (even in the past 3-6 months to be honest!).

Early on, I was mostly reaching for it to move faster. Now I find myself using it to do things I genuinely wouldn't have had the capability to do at all.

For example, I am a marketer and community builder 😎 but recently I've coded custom tools, created dashboards, and analyzed data in ways that weren't personally possible for me before AI.😱 It's not that I didn't have time to do those things before. I didn't have the skills. I would have had to rely on other teams, submit requests, wait on vendors, etc. Now I can just build it myself.

Have you experienced something similar? Has AI expanded what you're personally capable of, beyond your core discipline? What have you built or done that you genuinely couldn't have pulled off on your own before? 👇

Hi @LaurenClev ! For me, its accelerated my work. It’s a thought partner for strategic thinking, as well as a junior developer when I need some quick code written. It really is amazing how versatile it is.

As a software developer, it has allowed to me express ideas faster in languages I wouldn’t have been able to code by hand. I also find it incredibly useful at keeping history, conversations, and context across my work streams - something I would’ve never found time for before!

Hi @LaurenClev ! For me, its been great at connecting dots and helping me in trying out many different things in various areas. The great thing about this is definitely its versatility with many different roles it can play. So it can be truly a partner that can work with you at various stages for building something. While I have tried many different things, with AEM at the front and center of it. Things like custom skills - https://github.com/narendragandhi/aem-workflow-skill, https://github.com/narendragandhi/aem-junit-skill, webMCP integration with AEM - https://github.com/narendragandhi/aem-webmcp, and also a community resource to capture the latest in AEM for AI - https://github.com/narendragandhi/awesome-aem-ai
