[CX Enterprise Coworker] Validate Your Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics Upgrade with Coworker

[OVERVIEW]
When you upgrade from Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker can compare the data in both systems for you in a single conversation. You pick a report suite and a data view, choose whether to check one metric, one dimension, or everything at once, and Coworker reports how closely the two match, with insights and suggested next steps. You do not need to know how your implementation is architected, and there is no need to build queries or export data by hand.

[IMPACT]
Validating an upgrade comes down to knowing how closely your Customer Journey Analytics data matches your Adobe Analytics data, and where it does not. The output is an overall matching rate, key insights, a summary of totals and variance, and, depending on what you validate, a daily trend, date-level detail, or a scorecard, followed by likely causes and suggested actions. For example, in a scenario where you compare page views over the past 30 days and Customer Journey Analytics runs consistently higher than Adobe Analytics, with variance over 10 percent on many days, that can point to a systemic counting difference rather than a one-off collection problem.

[LESSONS]
The overall matching rate always appears first and weighs every compared metric and dimension equally, so high-volume metrics such as page views do not skew the score. A rate of 97 to 100 percent is rated Excellent, 90 to 96 Good, 75 to 89 Review, and below 75 Poor, and when you compare a single metric or dimension, daily variance over 10 percent is rated critical and calls for immediate investigation. Some variance is expected, because the two systems count and process data differently, for example device-based visitors versus people, and collection-time versus report-time processing. If Customer Journey Analytics values come out consistently about twice the Adobe Analytics values across all metrics, that usually points to duplicate data in the data view and not to identity stitching.

[TRYABLE]
1. Have your Adobe Analytics report suite and the Customer Journey Analytics data view that holds the same data ready, then log in to Coworker and select New Chat.
2. Ask Coworker to validate your upgrade. For example: Help me validate my company's upgrade from Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics. Coworker sends the request to its Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics validation skill, which starts an interactive setup.
3. Answer each setup question: your Analytics company (the one you log in to Adobe Analytics with), your report suite, and your Customer Journey Analytics data view. You can give a data view ID instead of choosing from a list, and you can change any selection later in the same conversation without starting over.
4. Review the setup summary to confirm you are validating the right data. It shows your selections with a preview of the top metrics and dimensions in each system, and Coworker recommends a starting point.
5. Choose what to validate: a single metric for a quick check such as page views or visits, a single dimension when you suspect a mapping or classification difference, or a full report suite and data view audit that compares many metrics and dimensions in one run. Coworker then retrieves the data from both systems and prepares the comparison.
6. Read the results, starting with the Overall matching rate, then Key insights and Summary. For a single metric or dimension, the Daily trend and Date detail tabs show the two systems side by side. For a full audit, the Scorecard shows pass, flagged, and critical counts plus the best and lowest matching items.
7. Scroll down for patterns, likely causes, and suggested actions, including what to review in each product and what to validate next. Verify the suggestions, then resolve them in Experience Platform or Adobe Analytics. To keep going, validate another metric, dimension, or audit, since your selections carry forward. Then continue with the rest of your upgrade steps.

[SETUP]
Plan on having access to Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker Chat, an Adobe Analytics report suite, and a Customer Journey Analytics data view that contains the same data. This validation is meant to come after you have completed the earlier steps of your upgrade. Coworker detects whether your Customer Journey Analytics implementation uses the Analytics Source Connector or a new Experience Platform Web SDK implementation, so you do not need to know how it is architected.
