Date Management Within Scheduling Tool: Dragging a task to the next available date

Managing a lot of tasks/projects and dealing with frequent priority changes is quite a challenge. Resource Scheduling tool is very helpful, but it would be more helpful if we could manage dates at its level.

Current situation: When a resource is overallocated, we have no choice but to open every projects and change dates manually. This has quickly became a burden for PMs.

Solution: It would be fantastic to manage task dates at the scheduling tool level. I wish we could simply drag tasks to the next available date and get the timeline in the project updated automatically (see image below).
