What happens in Vegas? 🎲 Share your tips and recs for Fabulous Las Vegas!

This will be my first trip to Adobe Summit - and my first Vegas trip since I got married at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel all the way back in 2005!

(Before you ask, yes, really; and yes, we’re still married!)

Which of course brings me to the ever important question: what does everyone do when you’re between Summit sessions and events? What are the can’t-miss attractions for folks who might not be familiar with the city’s charms? Share your Vegas tips and recs in the comments, like:

  • Your go-to spot for coffee or a quick bite between sessions ☕️
  • A low-key place to unwind after a long day 🧘
  • Something surprisingly close to the venue 🗺️
  • A “wish I knew this sooner” tip 💡

Doesn’t have to be fancy or official! Even the littlest tip might make all the difference for a newbie (like me).

I’ll start: If you get married in Las Vegas, spring for the extra $$$ for the Elvis impersonator officiant. Not getting married by Elvis is literally my only regret from my very not-fancy wedding! 😉 🕺

I can’t wait to see what everyone recommends!

Has anyone ever been to Miznon in the Venetian before?

This place has one of my all time favorite bites -- the folded cheeseburger.

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

Low key place to unwind depending how much unwinding you want to do… at the Venetian is the Canyon Ranch Spa - literally the best spa I have been to, but I think it may be under construction. All of the Spas in the Vegas hotels are unlike any other spa experience so just pick one 😁

I didn’t even think of a spa! What a way to relax after a busy day on the show floor 🤩

Here’s a tip for those of you staying at the Venetian - there is a ‘secret pool garden’ on the 10th floor (Venetian side, not Palazzo side).

I’ll link to a youtube video about it, but the videographer misses the best part: there is one large, shallow pool with fountains/waterfall (if I remember correctly) that is nice, but the real key feature is the ~5 or so small, jetted, ‘hot tub pools’ that are inset into the greenery (the video goes past one at 2:49). The setting makes each one fairly private, which is really nice and relaxing. They accommodate 5-10 people depending on how you want to squeeze in.

I found this about 15 years ago on a trip but haven’t been back. At the time I was there it never got busy, and myself and friends would wind down each day with a drink and a soak in one of the small pools. Fantastic way to chill at the end of a long day, and I hope I’m not jinxing the secret posting it here!

WOW I couldn’t get in at the Venetian and now I’m super jealous! It looks so nice!
