Welcome to the Mega-WUG Adobe Summit 2026 Workfront After Party Chat (5.12.26), where the tea is piping hot and so are the takes.

Forget who had the coolest swag—it's time to spill the real tea. What from Adobe Summit 2026 is actually doable when you get back to your organization? What announcements will genuinely change the landscape? And let's be honest—what's just not meeting the mark?

Join our expert panelists for an unfiltered conversation on Workfront, content supply chain innovation, and AI. No corporate speak. No fluff.

Just honest, spirited debate about what matters: the good, the controversial, and everything we've been thinking about but not saying out loud.

Come curious. Leave with clarity. And maybe a little mad.

FIND QUESTIONS AND CONVERSATION FROM THE EVENT THAT WILL TAKE PLACE ON 5.12.26 BELOW.

Thank you all for attending and participating in today’s event and a special thanks to our panelists and my co-host! As promised, here are the links to upcoming events and the Adobe Summit 2026 session recordings:

Here are some questions from the audience (feel free to add more) and add answers in the comments below:

  • Will Planning have high-level resource management to 'replace' Scenarios?
  • Is there any on-demand training (video preferred) for intro to resource management?
  • Is there training on fusion?
  • Do we know if Frame will receive better attention in terms of development updates?
  • Is there a deprecation timeline for the "external" WF Proof?
  • Info on GenStudio for project management?

The session after-party topics we covered include the following - feel free to keep the discussion going on these below in the comments:

  • What’s next on your AI roadmap,
  • Are you taking a wait and see approach
  • What tasks AI will support on your team
  • Do you expect adoption challenges with the proof to frame.io transition
  • Is the price tag worth it for CSC investment and how do you justify the headcount and spend?
  • What non-AI product capabilities do you want to see prioritized / enhanced?
  • Top AI trends
  • What systems need to talk to each other for CSC to work?
  • Adobe’s strategy of combining native and third party agents

🙂 Keep an eye out for the recording on our WUG YouTube Channel soon!

  • Do we know if Frame will receive better attention in terms of development updates?
  • Is there a deprecation timeline for the "external" WF Proof?
  • Is there a cost for V2 SKU?

Here are some answers re: the above questions:

I believe frame has a lot of feature upgrades already from proof, as well as the combo with the new storage feature being a good benefit.

There is not a determined timeline for proof being deprecated - they are not rushing the transition.

Depends on your contract for the cost - if you are in middle of renewal (this may mean a $0 contract change) or if you are at renewal. You also need to factor in if you are okay with frame.io for review and approvals, or if you need to upgrade to frame for enterprise. If you are upgrading for frame for enterprise, there’s a cost generally. A strong reason for upgrading to frame for enterprise vs the native frame is that there are video approval caps equivalent to 10% of your users. There’s some other benefits too for enterprise frame, like watermarks, etc., but the video cap is the big reason why enterprise frame is the best fit and a must for us. 🙂

Hi @BeckyBarus I’m working with the devs team on our Fusion instance. They have never used Workfront or Fusion before. Can you recommend any Fusion trainings of the very basics that will help catch them up to speed? Thanks so much!

Hi Brittany - yes, here is a good place to start on experience league: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront-learn/tutorials-workfront/fusion/welcome-to-workfront-fusion/introduction-and-tech-strategy

On the left hand menu, it goes further into detail about Fusion and scenarios. Let me know if you would like any further docs.

For everyone asking about resources for Planning & Fusion you can find the recordings from the Scale team events here: Adobe Workfront On-demand Workshops and on the left navigation select “Workshop Rewind” and you’ll see sections for each area of Workfront
