Free Certifications at Adobe Summit: What to Expect 👀

If you’ve been thinking about an Adobe Experience Cloud certification, consider this your sign: in‑person attendees with a full Adobe Summit pass can take certification exams for free 🙌

Testing is available across four days this year, with twice as many seats as before.

A few things to know:

· You must be a full Summit passholder

· Bring your own fully charged laptop (charging stations will be limited)

· Seating is first come, first served

How it works

· Visit the Adobe Certification table on the 5th floor of the Venetian

· Stable, secure Wi‑Fi will be provided during testing

· You can take multiple different exams, but not the same exam more than once

· All certification exams are available (except Adobe ColdFusion and Adobe Captivate)

Testing hours

· April 19–21: 9am–5pm PT (last exam starts at 5pm)

· April 22: 8am–1pm PT (last exam starts at 1pm)

Before Summit

· Create an account in the Adobe Certification Portal using your Adobe ID

· Partners logged into the Partner Experience Hub will be signed in automatically

If you’re considering an exam — or just exploring the idea — feel free to share which one you’re thinking about. And if you’ve taken a certification before, we'd love to hear your tips/what to expect!

Hi Nick! Great Post!

I have a question: are the systems used in the exam the same as in the online certification?

My corporate laptop has some restrictions per compliance, particularly with that video monitoring software, so I am not sure if I will be able to take the exam on it or if I will need to bring an additional personal laptop.

Se quiser, posso te ajudar a deixar essa pergunta mais formal para enviar ao suporte da certificação.

Ricardo, when you take the certs at Summit, its with in-person proctors, there will be folks in the room with us as we take the exam.  That will avoid the software monitoring.  You’ll simply login to the test once they seat you.  The proctors help with any set up needs to make sure you can get to the test and logged in, and off you go to take your test.  Once you submit your test it will provide you the preliminary score so you know if you passed or not.

If my response answered your question, please mark it answered, so others can find the answer

Hi Sarav,

In an effort to encourage test taking on site, we won’t be handing out vouchers unless the demand surpasses the capacity for testing. We will be there on Sunday in case you can fly in early and take the exam before Summit kicks off on Monday.

I took a couple of exams last year and it was a great experience!

I previously had a lot of stress with the online experience, from expectations on what could/could not be in my room (or even being able to have a room), to my work laptop not playing well with the software required to carry out the testing. For me it was so much better interfacing with live people and getting their help, as well as not needing to schedule and then worry about my problems pushing me past the start time and being disqualified. Everyone was very supportive and friendly and almost cheerleading in the testing hall. It was a real boost to morale.

Additionally, the staff were truly interested in my testing experience! I know in the past on the Community we have had a LOT of conversation on whether the prep materials reflected what was on the test or whether the test questions were valid for the product and level of testing -- this is YOUR chance to have your voice heard after the testing, as they were genuinely invested in the specifics you have to give.

Thank you @Nick_Hilton for this opportunity again! I took couple of free certification exams at the Champion Forum at Adobe HQ last year. Taking in-person and with real proctor was far better experience than the online version. We will and had take online exams usually. But this is the great experience and peaceful compared to online stress and all the things we have to make sure before taking the exam. I would definitely recommend taking the certification exams at summit if you have time. You will definitely love the experience.
