What does localizedMsg mean in the Salesforce Sync Change message

We had some string fields implemented as picklists in several forms. When we added a new value in SFDC so that what we were collecting would match SFDC I got the message below. What does localizedMsg mean?

The following fields have been changed:

• Primary_Service__c

• picklist entries changed

• localizedMsg
