Custom object query not returning fields datatype

Hi..

I am querying a custom object from .Net (C#)... in the result set I get for each custom object attribute its name (attrName), value (attrValue) and type (attrType).

The problem I am seeing is that the attrType always comes null....

is this a known bug, or maybe I am missing something in the query that will return the attribute types?

I confirmed this as well, I've never noticed and have not run into a use case for the types to be returned.  

Please open a support ticket so they can reach out to engineering as needed.
